Coronavirus Update

As a School we are doing all we can to minimise the risk of coronavirus (COVID-19) and protect our pupils, their families and our staff. Thank you so much for your support during this challenging time as we prioritise the safety and wellbeing of our whole school community.

Duke of Kent School is currently open for children of Key Workers and from June 1st, in line with government guidelines, we will be open for specific year groups whilst our remaining pupils have moved to a virtual learning environment

Duke of Kent School’s summer term is successfully underway online, with an exciting and varied programme of academic lessons and pastoral support for our students.  Staff are working hard to ensure that all our students continue to receive high quality teaching and engagement as well as access to our unique broader curriculum which is more important than ever at the moment.

The School remains open for any enquiries, including admissions, and we are currently taking bookings for our Virtual Open Days. If you would like to have a virtual meeting with our Head, Mrs Sue Knox, please contact our Registrar, Jane Hopwood, on jhopwood@dokschool.org.

Throughout this difficult time, the Duke of Kent School community has remained determined and positive. Our core value of Kindness has shone through so brightly. Whilst we are not physically together, in spirit we are, and we will continue to do so as we embark upon new ways of working and learning during the Summer Term.

Do continue to follow us on Twitter (@DoKSchool) and Instagram (dukeofkentschool) as we celebrate what makes Duke of Kent School community special.

We hope that you and your families stay safe and healthy.

Mrs Knox - Head
