One of the events of the year, the Pre-prep Dance Show didn't disappoint!

As we reached the end of term the whole school was a buzz with anticipation for the eagerly awaited Pre-prep Dance Show. This time the audience were treated to a retelling of ‘The Wizard of Oz’. The story was the same, but the music was a smorgasbord of brilliantly edited styles and genres, with everything from Doris Day to Vanilla Ice providing the soundtrack to this vibrant and colourful celebration of dance.

Every child from the youngest performers in Nursery to the Year two children was absolutely brilliant!  Our dance teacher and resident choreographer Lisa Lee manages to balance fun and expertise, showcasing the talents of all the children in an imaginative and engaging way.

The Year Two children took on the role of the main characters and were ably supported by their peers including Nursery as the good folk from Oz, Reception as Munchkins and Year One as Jitterbugs. The costumes (with a little additional sparkle!) were amazing, and it was a fantastic way to end the year.  Parents joined in with the finale of ‘Disco Inferno’ and tears of joy and pride were shed by many!
