Nursery

There could not be a more idyllic setting for your child to begin their education. Set within acres of Surrey’s outstanding countryside, with hills to climb up, or to roll down and forests to explore,  our Nursery pupils develop an appreciation of the world around them, while building a secure foundation for their future education.

Duke of Kent School Nursery provides a unique environment in which to develop your child’s emotional social, intellectual, physical, and creative skills. In this secure, caring and stimulating environment, every child feels confident, secure, and valued as an individual.

Nursery Curriculum

The curriculum in Nursery is broad and follows the Early Years Foundation Stage requirements. Each week all the children will have the opportunity to strengthen their creative and physical development by participating in Art and Craft, Languages, PE, Music and Dance. Forest School is an integral element of the curriculum.

Working in partnership with parents, Nursery staff provide the opportunities, support and challenges needed to ensure that each child is ready for the adventures waiting for them in Reception.
