Duke of Kent School Ski Trip 2015

Just before Christmas our plucky party of 73 intrepid children and teachers set off eagerly, destined for the French Alps, in search of fun and adventure. We stayed in the beautiful resort of Montgenvre which nestles quietly on the French Italian border.

A slight lack of snow was made up for by the glorious sunny skies which greeted us each morning. The gentle hum of snow cannons soothed our nightly slumber, producing soft snow and a perfect playground for our spirited bunch.

The trip was a huge success with multitude of new skills developed. New friendships were made and existing ones made stronger by the shared experience. The pupils conducted themselves with aplomb and were once again a credit to the School. We all enjoyed our time in the mountains and are looking forward to the time when we can return again.
