Duke of Kent School

For World Book day on 4 March, children and staff enjoyed literature of all genres and dressing up as their favourite book characters. The pupils also took part in book quizzes, making bookmarks and a competition where they entered a photograph of themselves reading in extreme places such as, on a trampoline in mid-somersault, on a skateboard, in a pigsty and even on the roof of a garage.

Throughout the day all the pupils and staff read out from their chosen books, sharing their love of literature, whether it be poetry, nursery rhymes, science fiction or adventure.
