Pre-Prep
Nursery, Reception, Years 1 and 2
The Pre-Prep department was set up in 1993 to cater for children between the ages of 4 and 7, Monday to Friday. From September 2006 we have expanded our provision and have a beautiful new Nursery classroom for children aged 3-4. We accept local authority nursery vouchers.
The Department is situated within the main school teaching block in a self-contained suite of large, bright classrooms with their own cloakrooms and toilet facilities. This has the advantage of ensuring that the children feel fully integrated into the day to day routine of the School, whilst at the same time enabling the Pre-Prep to enjoy a lively identity of its own. Class sizes are small in order to guarantee the amount of individual attention that we feel is necessary for young children.
We endeavour to help our children develop knowledge and skills as a preparation for a full and happy education. This is achieved within a caring and stable environment where the children feel they belong and are happy. Children undertake responsibilities appropriate to their age group and ability as part of the school community. It goes without saying that each child is valued as an individual and is encouraged to reach his or her potential.
