The School offers a wide ranging and highly active curriculum. In Pre-Prep children develop their literacy and numeracy skills using Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 parameters. However, our small class sizes and expert teaching enable us to ensure that each child is challenged and developed according to his or her abilities.
From ages 7 to 13 the School directs its academic curriculum towards achieving solid Common Entrance results for a very wide range of schools. In effect this means that children are given a great deal of specialist teaching in English, Maths, Science, Modern Languages, History, Geography and Religous Studies.
However, our extended day means that we are able to provide far more than standard classroom education. Our busy schedule incorporates no fewer than 4 seventy minute games sessions per week as well as ample opportunity to benefit from our music and art facilities
Our extensive activities programme offers further opportunities for children to participate in an array of attractive pursuits, including chess, dance, fencing, music production, ICT and rifle shooting - which is popular with girls and boys alike. More often than not there is no extra charge for these popular and well-subscribed activities.
